Call for evidence on school exclusion reform
Yesterday the DfE launched a call for evidence on the school exclusion reform proposals set out in the schools white paper. The proposals include a national framework for internal suspension, reintegration support partnerships following a suspension, and a legal duty to
set work for pupils to complete at home during the first five days of a suspension or exclusion. Responses are required by 19 November 2026.
